I dont know. Boxers are not required to hire anyone and certainly not specific people to get matches (to act as seconds or trainers) and it seems like you are almost requiring that from a fighter. I know a fighter should have a trainer, but its his right not to, and you cant legally make him I am pretty sure.

It could look a bit odd to any sort of oversight if you are charging a bunch of money and forcing someone to have a trainer (whether its you or not) when its their right not to have one. Of course you can just say you dont want those guys to fight, but as soon as you say something along the lines of "you have to have a trainer and if not pay this and this guy will be your trainer/cornerman and now you can get a fight", you are coming very close to breaking the law if you are not breaking it already. This is assuming MMA fighters are going to have the same rights as boxers.

I'm not saying any fighter has to have a trainer. You are absolutley right, it is their choice. The $50 a month the fighter is paying is for the use of our school-where, if they so choose, they can utilize the services of our trainers and manager. If they want to come in by thereself and put together their own training program that is fine. If they have their own place to train, if they have their own training program then all they have to pay is $50 a year. However, when it comes to managers, everyone needs to have one. I am not saying it has to be us, but it needs to be someone that the fighter is comfortable with. I see having a manager as a second sight of eyes, like I said, we want to build a quality home for the fighter and fans.
