There is no difference. The terms mean exactly the same thing. The important issue for you is wether Automodena acting as a Principal, i.e. they purchased stock and then sold it to you, or they acted as broker/agent in which case they supplied you with a service and charged you a service charge/fee. Automodenas web site indicates that this is how they should have been trading but you may need to look at the small print on your order form/contract.
