(Although there was rarely a day that passed when he didnt think of Fyre at least once and miss her, his thought of her had shifted since those first months when he had been lonely and needed her. Ever since she had come to him in his dreams she had become a sort of guardian angel for him, reminding him everyday just how prescious life, Aiden, Sam and Skye were to him and making him appreciate every new experience that came to him through her eyes as well as his own. It was as though her death had given him an inner mission to experience everything for her. As though he could read her thoughts, he looked up at her and splayed a hand over her belly.)
