(He loved Sam like a daughter and enjoyed every opportunity they had to have her stay at the house, she had become as much a part of the family as Skye had, and that was saying a lot, because Skye was the center of his life. His brow furrowed as he tried to decipher what Jag was up to and then shrugged a little.) Do you want me to go to the conference with you? (He would only go if she wanted him, he didn't want a 'sam has two daddies' story getting around and was in no way trying to cut into Jag's time.. okay, well.. maybe in some way he was trying to cut into Jag's time. He didn't like the guy, he was arrogant and controlling and made Skye feel worthless and it pissed him off.) You've got all the time in the world.. you can go to college if you want to, the possibilities are endless. (He said the last part in a cliche'd tone, gesturing with his hand before moving it to her stomach and drawing her into his chest, kissing her temple.) Figure out what makes you happy and pursue it with all your heart.. that's all I ask of you.
