(He looked up from where he was playing around with the dogs and smiled up at her, not really looking her over right away since he was just sort of thinking about how when he and Jewel had first started dating she hadn't been much for a cook and how his son was lucky to have a girl like Skye who could make a house smell so good. Then he got on to thinking about how Jewel was still so off about Skye and about how he had been exhausting his agency training just to fool her into thinking that he sort of agreed with her.) Always, me amo.. (He said with a teasing tone as he rose to his full height again, which was less than imposing at just under 5'6". He was by far the shortest of the Maritas, and it didnt help when he was in the same room as his adopted son - who towered over him at 6'2". Being as astute as he was, it was no real surprise that he picked up she was pregnant from the image of his son leaning in to kiss her cheek and at the same time subconsciously laying a protective hand on her stomach.. which was slightly curved now that he noticed. He looked over at Niko, who realized at the same time that his father did what he had done.. because he could see the smile that lit his son's eyes.) (He smiled as he looked over his girl and his son, the two of them were bonding so well and it warmed his heart to know that his son would always have a 'mom' in Skye.. she would be the woman he went to when he would have gone to Fyre.. and he couldn't have chosen a better woman to be in her position.) Papi.. Skye and I are expecting a child.. (He said, using the childish nickname for his father that he tended to use when he was fishing for brownie points, he knew in the war against his mom that he would need Rico on his side. He had seen Rico's eyes run over Skye and the sudden understanding in them, so the statement wasn't said to share the news, but to confirm his father's realization.) (He smiled as he looked from Niko to Skye and then walked over to her, raising a hand to lay it on her cheek. At least now that he was here with them without Jewel looking over his shoulder he could express how happy he was to have another grandchild on the way.) You have no idea how it warms my heart to see you and Niko back together and now you're expecting.. (He let out a soft breath and then looked over at Aiden, moving his hand from her cheek to brush it over the child's thatch of dark hair.) Children are such a blessing.. (He murmured, seeming to become lost in the happiness he was feeling, distracted by his grandson's happy expressionand the excitement he was feeling at the thought of another baby to spoil rotten.)
