She nodded a little at that, thinking of Sam always brought a smile to her face and distracted her for a second but then she focused in on what Rico was saying. "You know...I really should call them. We need to tell them soon." She said, half to Rico and then the rest to his son. Her hand trailed over his short, shaved hair briefly before she went to get Aiden out of his high chair, smiling at the baby and pressing kisses to his pudgy fingers, a yawn escaping her lips already. The baby made her tired, she could feel her body changing and adjusting to supporting another life already. It was obvious her hormones were out of wack and that was messing with her, not to mention the fact that it seemed everytime she went to eat something, something or other was mentioned that bothered her and then her appettite was suddenly just stolen away. "Sam will be excited to see you. She missed my Daddy too, he's totally her favorite person in the world." She smiled a little before she cleared her throat and leaned down to press a kiss to Rico's cheek. "I am going to go give Aiden his bath, you should stick around but if you can't, I'll give you a call tomorrow." She smiled warmly then, shifting the baby on her hip - he was getting so big.

(He always reveled under the affections of the girls that his sons were dating.. it was nice to have so many sweet girls around - it did a Rico good. Smiling, he patted her arm as she kissed his cheek and watched her pick up the baby, who he waggled his brows at to get a sleepy smile in return.) It will do Shaun good to have another grandkid, they keep him young. (He smirked, never missing a chance to call his friend and ex-partner old.. cause he was. He looked at his watch and nodded.) I dont know how much longer I will stick around.. Jewel's waiting for me.. but I will definitely be here to see Sam.
