(Since he was already in his pajamas, he simply went through the motions of closing the blinds, turning down the covers and putting the decorative pillows on the floor at the foot of the bed before swapping places with her in the bathroom. When he came back out, he shut off the lights and crossed over to climb into bed beside her. The spring air made the room feel a little sticky and that prompted him to simply shuck his sweats, leaving him naked beneath the sheets. Unappologetically, he reached for her and tugged her over to spoon with her, his chest agaisnt her back and his hand firmly splayed over her belly.
