Tejada on the other hand, is one of the worst

You are right about Gammons. You would think by listening to him that Tejada invented the position of SS.
I also liked what you had to say about taking Thome and Arod away from their teams. When someone mentions that the Rangers could have finished last without Arod, they really don't understand that finishing last in the AL West isn't exactly a shame. Don't get me wrong, they weren't that good, but they could have been alot worse.
I do wonder something about Arod though. I wonder if he is really a "money" player. I am not ready to call him a choker, but I think of the following.
How he tanked in the playoffs 2 years ago, after Clemens threw one up and in on him.
How he looked like Benji Gil one his first games back at Safeco, after signing with the Rangers.
How he wilted down the stretch this year, when people were hoping he would reach 60 homers.
Those things aren't reasons to just release him or anything that bad lol, I just wonder if by some miracle, the Rangers ever make it back to the playoffs, if he will rise to the occasion like his old pal Jeter does every post season, or if he will play like, well, like a Ranger does every post season lol.
