Subject: Way to go Dodgers

Gary Sheffield for Brian Jordan and Odalis Perez?? You've got to be kidding me! Just like that, the Braves are back on top, and the Dodgers have ZERO offense besides Paul LoDuca's one good season, and a young Adrian Beltre trying to recover from a botched 3rd-world surgery.

And to think they were on the verge of getting at least Jermaine Dye. Now they get a very hittable Lefty, coming off Tommy John surgery in 2000.... and they get the best football player in MLB. Brian Jordan is one of my favorite players for his defense, but c'mon...his OBP and SLG are both about 100 pts. lower than Sheffield. And for all those that say the Dodgers are adding by subtracting Sheffield's attitude, that's a crock. The Dodgers have turned into a crap organization, and have lied to Sheff more than once, and never been up front with him. When he goes to Atlanta, people will see this. And I bet Chipper Jones just soiled himself at the thought of having Sheff batting behind him.... Larry is gonna have a monster year.
