I think Andruw is the guy who will benefit most from the addition, but I don't think the Dodgers got as screwed as it seems. Jordan was injured a large part of last season, and could bounce back and be huge in LA, not to mention, he was unhappy in Atlanta also, he just didn't make as big a stink about it as Sheff. Besides, I don't think 11 more homers, slightly better average and 3 more RBI puts Atlanta in much better shape, but as I said in the previous thread, I think they were ahead of the rest of the East anyway.
One more thing, I was pretty upset to see that Hart had traded away Carlos Pena to Oakland for a lefty pitcher who may or may not be worth crap, and the 1st base prospect that was supposedly Giambi's replacement. If they were so high on this Hart kid, would they really have sent him AND 2 other guys, the pitcher being the centerpiece to boot, to a division rival? No. But Texas sent one of the games best prospects, and a guy who had shown he was ready, to their biggest obstacle to returning to prominence, and if any of them, the pitcher will be the only one to ever make the bigs. The only upside I can see to this is that now they could possibly convert Blalock to a 1st baseman, since the OF is way overcrowded, keep Texiera at 3rd, and that way they can both still move up on schedule. At least until Hart trades Blalock for Jesse Orosco.
