I have quite the opposite although the guilt is the same.. I never feel full.. I eat and eat and eat.. I can never seem to get my hunger under control and there lies the guilt. I am doing better this last week but am always fearful I will "fall off the wagon" again. I know that there is an underlying problem that has not been dealt with that cause me to eat but I guess I am not willing to let it go yet.. LOL

I personally think you eat to little in a day. Your stomach is so small that you feel full after even eating a little bit. Mine on the other hand has to shrink lots because I think that is why I always feel hungry.

May I ask what you weight and your height? Are you male or female? (sorry can't tell by your name... hehe)

Are you drinking a lot of water also? and if so is it before your meal, during, or after?

I believe that we must eat a well balanced diet for our bodies to be healthy.

Grain Products
5-12
SERVINGS PER DAY

Vegetables and Fruit
5-10
SERVINGS PER DAY

Milk Products
Adults 2-4
SERVINGS PER DAY

Meat and Alternatives
2-3
SERVINGS PER DAY

Taken from the Canadian Food Guide - (http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/hppb/nutrition/pube/foodguid/index.html) Awesome website on nutrition

Of course when we are dieting it is important to cut back on servings but not to a point of deprivation. When you deprive your body of specific foods you begin to become unhealthy in ways you could never imagine. The American Heart Association is now saying that taking to much fat out of our diets is just as bad as eating to much. Plus they are saying all of the "low fat" foods people are eating are bad also because the companies replace the fat with carbs and that is equally as bad :(

Look I am writing a book here.. ROFL.. get me going and you may never shut me up... hehe.. anyway, I think it is a good idea if you are feeling out of sorts and vulnerable that you should go back to your therapist as they are the ones who are educated to help during these difficult times.

I am proud that you have recognized the onset of a possible laps and think you are doing wonderful coming here asking for help :)) Way to go!!!

I'm a 23 yo female. History of binge eating disorder, as well as being a borderline bulemic. Haven't had a problem with food this bad since 1999. I'm 5 feet 4 inches and weigh 253 pounds. My goal is to be near 140 by August of 2003.
My short-term goal is to lose 10 lbs by the end of the month. I started this short term goal toward the end of may, giving myself 6 weeks to achieve it. So far, I've lost 3 pounds... I'm not sure how my weigh-in will be affected this coming week, but I"m hoping for a loss.

Thanks for the reply.
