The main thing that perturbed me about "Zoolander" was it's PG-13 rating. . .I watched it with my kids and ended up being sorry that I did. It *definitely* should have been rated R.
No, I'm not advocating censorship, but if movie ratings aren't going to serve as at least a *rough* guide of whether or not a movie is appropriate for, say, a 12-year-old, then why have ratings at all???
I also agree that watching it simply for DD's role (which is, of course, the only reason I rented the *$% thing!) is a waste of time, as he's only in it for a minute or two.
I don't know that comedy, per se, is the problem: "Return to Me" was a romantic comedy and I thought DD was *wonderful* in that. But stupid, gross-out teen comedies like "Zoolander". . .he can do better than that!
