Gotta agree with your take that XF is the only thing CC has done that hasn't flopped! I mean, "Harsh Realm" last, what, four eps??
I also got a kick out of GA's comments! Sounds like *maybe* one of the things that could lure her into making a second XF movie is the same thing that would lure me out to see it during its first week in theaters. . .an R-rated love scene between Mulder and Scully!! Without meaning to start any ridculous rumors, DD and GA are both actors and are both very attractive people who worked very closely with each other for a long time. . .there has *got* to be some curiousity, on both their parts, as to what it would be like to do a love scene with each other in which they took things farther than a single kiss while standing up and being fully clothed!
Another thing that may eventually lure GA to reprise her role as Scully is the simple truth that it's likely to be the only offer she ever gets to star as the female lead in a major theatrical release. She's 34 now, I think, and almost all "leading lady" roles go to women 35 and under. As a woman, I think this stinks, but as an X-Phile I feel it will work in our favor.
