I think this needs specifics:
1. Difficulty reading, and keeping the lines of text in order, easy distraction,re-reading lines as they get jumbled.
2. Extremely poor hand writing and spelling, letter reversals, word jumps.
3. Anger over the endless, life long criticism of written material.
4. Excuse making and avoidance over written tasks. But the development of excellent verbal skills. (modesty forgiven)
5. The computer/technology; where was this 40 years ago, it is a life saver.
6. Developing coping tactics and alternatives.
7. Seeking work that plays to your strengths rather than weakness.Re-enforce success, not failure.
8. Recognising the flaw, working on it and not walking into mine fields of predictable disaster.
Now, is all this working? No, but some has, particularly the computer stuff.
Live for your self and not someone else's expectations; less they be "disappointed", a horrible word.
Good luck and Perseverance.
