Subject: Exercise- Draw it!

I mentioned map drawing before, and came up with an exercise for ya...
Draw up that map of your world- even if it's earth, get a map or make one. Find the "starting" point of your main character(s) and mark it. Then follow their journey around the map- do the whole thing!
Now evaluate: Does it follow the same cirle three times? Does it completely ignore an area? (Does it make a cool pattern? :) ). Use that to help you decide if something needs to be changed. For example, if you've got a path following the same circle over and over, you may want to rearrange some events in your story. Seeing the same places in the same order can get boring and redundant :) have fun! Post your results if you want!
*smile*
