Subject: Winter Tips

Changes in the weather mean drier skin, nails, and cuticles. Here are some tips for avoiding problems caused by dryness:

Shorten your nails before you break one and keep them at a reasonable length during the winter months.
Apply Cuticle Mousse more frequently to retain flexibility of the nail plate and prevent brittleness.
Keep nails covered with the Nail Lacquer sequence or Base Coat, Calcium Plus, and Top Coat.
Wearing gloves outdoors and rubber gloves when hands are in water, doing dishes, housework, etc.
Drink more water to maximize the effectiveness of your moisturizing products--eight 8 oz. glasses a day is the minimum!
Keep cuticles soft and pliable by applying Cuticle Softener before your shower or bath, or as a moisture sealant at bedtime.
Cuticle Oil Treatment applied before going outside will seal precious moisture in cuticles, and will give a healthy appearance.
Apply Moisture Seal twice daily to retain moisture and prevent the adverse effects of dirt, water, and mild chemicals.
Carry the 2 oz. Creme de Vuee everywhere you go. Many soaps strip moisture from you hands.
