Subject: Nail Don'ts

Don't trim your nails when they are dry, only after bathing or soaking. Looking at your palm, use a curved manicure scissors to trim away excess length while using the shape of your fingertip as a pattern to shape your nails. Finish with your File.

Don't any remover more than once a week. Be sure to rinse the remover residue off the nails before you apply polish.

Don't use cuticle remover products to remove excess cuticle tissue. They are extremely drying and chemically burn the tissue off. Instead, try Amera Cuticle Renew, which genly helps the natural exfoliation of excess cuticle tissue.

Don't cut, clip, or push cuticles back with excessive force-this can traumatize the matrix. BE GENTLE!

Don't allow your polish to chip off your nails without repairing it. Worn or chipped areas are water traps, which can lead to peeling nails.

Don't dig for items in your purse without watching what you are doing. Use your eye to help your hands--lift items out of the way. Organize your purse so keys can be located easily.

Don't go outside in cold weather without wearing gloves. Keep an extra pair in the car, in case you forget.
