He doesn't really explain the separated grip. If you take a ten finger grip as described in LTOBG there will be a slight gap between hands on the back of the grip unless you 1)reverse overlap or 2) really 'scrunch' up your left index finger (unless your hands are shaped very differently from mine).

He is a pro so I assume he knows what he's talking about (you know what happens when you assume - you make a ASS of U and ME). When I read what he says I understand perfectly why the amateurs in the NG infomercial look the way they do when you view their swings frame by frame. And the way they look is nothing like Moe (or Todd or Bunky or Jerry or the female pro).

Not to say you can't score well playing that way. In the Kalassey infomercial they have a scratch golfer and local amateur tournament winner who had almost NO wristcock at the top of his swing. Even after the kalassey the wrist cock was minimal. But scratch is better than I play even with my 90 degrees of wrist cock.
