The author or the article says the hands are separated, but that could just mean that it isn't an overlapping grip. I don't see anything there where Dan says that the hands must be separated.

How can you understand perfectly why the amateurs look the way they do in the infomercial? Do you know them and their background? How long had they worked on the swing before filming? A day? A week? A year? I heard that they wanted the infomercial to look more realistic, so they used beginning NGers. Maybe the pros you listed have practiced a bit more then the amateurs. Maybe you should rethink how perfectly you understand everything. Can you break 80? Or 90?
