So what you're saying is, you looked at those few low-res pictures and now you know they're just Orlimar knockoffs? Come on! You should know better than to argue that.

From what I can see, there are some superficial similarities to the Orlimars, but that doesn't make them knockoffs. I see several differences as well. I'll hold off judgement until I can get one in my hands and hit balls with it. Given the great job that NG did with the Beryllium Copper woods, I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt until then.

I'm also more than a little disappointed in your (and other people's) suggestion that for some pittance you can just go out and buy a set of knockoffs of any brand. I've hit several Taylor Made knockoffs and not found any that are close to hitting the real thing -- I know because I owned a set of TM Burner Bubbles, woods and irons.

Building your own set from quality components is one thing, paying money for some crappy knockoffs is another...

(but what do I know, I'm just an opinionated hack ;-)
