Subject: Mr. Noam

I am not sure what to make of noam's speech, i mean i saw the merits in his talk. he brought up many good and valid points. but what it came down to is that as the talk progresses noam started to sound like a whinny old man. Noam is supposed to be a great intellectual and an informed citizen. but what he told the crowd was nothing that they could not find in the daily chronicle or for that matter, the FogHorn. noam was very critical of the entire governmental establishment of the united states, which make me wonder why he still lives here. every quality that makes the united states great, which attracts thousands of immigrants each year, he verbally bashed. iw as expecting that he would offer healthy, constructive criticism. Not the kind of abuse one might recieve if they did not have dinner ready on the table when their spouse returned from work. it was good to see such a crowd, but i could see that many people left the talk unfullfilled.
