`Almost as an afterthought she reaches back into her pocket and pulls out the pack of cigs. Eyes still low she offers that and her lighter to Jarod. She had vowed not to speak to anyone, she just wanted to be forgotten. Once again her nerves were on edge. Pulling her pills she pops an addition four. Why wouldn't this guy just go on his own way? Then, almost as in a brainstorm she looks of. "Do you know of a good place to find a beer? I haven't had one in a week....." She let her words trail off. She needed a beer desperately. Her eyes were dull as they fell back to studying the ground.

(I know Aly...icky post, but I have a friggin' headache so...live with it:) )
