The king's head snaps in the direction of the foods table, his eyes squinting in obvious discomfort to the awful sound the woman was emitting. Shaking his head, he politely excuses himself from his sons' and the youn lady's presence. The moment the rat drops tot he floor, he stops short. Rats? Oscar? Impossible. But no...just at the distance he was, the rat looked familiar, and at once, a name pops into mind.

Brier.

He needs no further movement, however, for he'd apparently misjudged (or fogotten) his 'volunteer' bouncer's reflexes. The next moment is spent watching the pale grey form of a winged man half-landing, half-swooping upon the fast moving creature. With rather obvious indifference, Amarant seizes the rat by his tail, lifting him to a calm, face level. A glance is given to Saxom. Then, slowly, his glare moved towards Brier...
