OK, let's split the focus a little bit. Being Russian, weak, and sitting in building m5, what is the best option for keeping the Germans at bay? I seem to have the best luck keeping two squads in n5 and m5 if I can. Or is there some better reasoning for keeping some squads in reserve in n4 with a leader? Along the same lines, I have seen the reinforcements from m2/n2 commited fully to the m5/n5 hexes. And I have seen them spit up and some sent to assault the k4 building. Does this typically depend on the strengths of the Germans in l6 and k4? That is, use the reinforcements where they are needed most.

Now in the interest of being fair, how can the Germans best hold on to k4. Do they ingnore j2 and fire everything they have at the Guards from j4/j5? Or do they try to hold some in reserve and replace as necessary. Being surrounded, it seems like it is hard to keep reserves anywhere. Obviously with only one leader in k4, he is the most important. The fact that he is and 8-0 does not help matters. Or should the forces in k4 try to DM j2 and then turn their attention toward the Guards?

I think Alan said it best, that it is the complex relationship between all of the buildings that will lead to a victory
