I'm kind of with the original poster. If the Russians follow the path of least resistance, they'll take their escorted stack straight down the G row, ending their Advance in G4. Theoretically, some squads could be assembled in T3 to get one long range shot at that stack as it sprinted down the road on Turn 2 through H3...6 FP at -3's not too bad, but it's no gimme either. Fail to force some squads to break, and they're off the board in Turn 2. I can't imagine the Russians failing to get three guys off the board if they want to do so at maximum speed. And, if any guys gathered at T3 to take that iffy shot (iffy mostly because it's completely thwarted by a move into the woods instead of down the road), they didn't advance at top speed toward the exit area, which seems critical. Nah, I think you just let them go and get as many guys as possible to the exit area for the firefight in Act III.

But what do I know?
