Next years Tournaments

Here are a few suggested changes for next years KSA tournament! 1. Raise the entry fee to increase payouts either per person or a boat load entry.This was changed to 40$ per entry and 1/2 price for 15 years of age and under entries. Also to reward there hard work John and Carl will receive 2 free entries each I think Sharon should also be added to this list. 2. Change the walleye pot to a big striper stringer" Total Weight Pot. After all we are the Kansas Striper Assoc. not the Walleye Assoc. Or just add a Total Weight Striper Pot. 100% Pay back. A Striper Total weight pot was added. 3. Get rid of some of our weigh-in times, maybe only one per day? It was suggestted to weigh fish at 12- 9-and 12 noon 4. Enforce complaints of rules violations. If you have a complaint put it in writing then we can follow thru with it. It was agreed that they needed put in writing. 5. Promote youth and lady anglers by offering a prize to them. This was accepted with more to follow 6. Elect a commitee to promote tournaments and seek sponsors. A 5 person commitee was elected! 7. I would like to see at least one $1000 first place guaranteed tournament this year, I beleive we can do this easy thru sponsors and a slight increase in the entry fees. We will have a 1000$ tournament probably in June next year. 8. Nonimate a commitee NOW this weekend to make decisions on some of these issues so we don't have to wait until the beginning of the year. It was decided that a commitee was not needed that members present could decide in the best interest 9. Form a partnership with NSBA to help promote Us and them for future growth. A partnership with NSBA was accepted, more to follow. I know this is allot of possible changes but in order to expand and promote this club I feel some of it must be done. Sincerely, Jack Hoskinson
