he forgets theres tragedy written here
in dillusion he forgets that he was
seeing things never there until the mess
that wrecked a perfectly well to do daylight
dream.

he forgets theres consumption hidden there
infliction as an afterthought
loss of balance only a moment
to forget the tragedy that will ensue

rises to the occasion this son. sun?
and views the text in an angled second
blacks out with a wall and he falls back into
the design of temptation

only forgiveness is given to those in repent
and he forgets his condition when all is done
he forgets he killed and only remembers dillusion
a chemical moment to feel better in the morning

and the cat and the cradle rest soon after
all of these moments are pieced together
and figured out and hated upon with fervour
to never be like him

to thinking and figuring to knowing
little quirks and hatred present
downers in progress knowing hes got
half if not more of all of himself wrong

and changing it all around in lie
for an answer to those insecure moments
never finding the riddle to answer
to know the answer and know it right

and all is left unresolved
father dying in a moment of doubt
and hes left alone to wonder
when this all got so distant and out of hand.

as a side note... Jim and Hope... you both knew me years ago from the PTO chat. i think i was DarkRainPoet or whatever. owned BlackVelvetRain. in any event... i'd like to hear from you guys again... it's been awhile...
