(A Spinoff Of More Than One Way To Skin A Cat)
A mother with kids who led a single life,
never to enjoy being a man's wife.
The father of her girl and boy,
desired only to destroy.
He left her and kidnapped those two,
she never knew what she could do.
He poisoned their minds about her,
they never visited that's for sure.
One day he disappeared, & apparently died.
kids were grown, but they still cried.
Still didn't contact the one who gave them birth,
she wondered if that was all her worth.
She ran into her lost daughter one day,
told her that her dad never passed away.
He had returned home to be with his wife,
and start out on a brand new life.
The gal quickly called her brother,
said, "dad's not dead, he's back with mother.
"Let's go see mom and day, we'll go today,
hurry over here, be on your way."
When they arrived, mom was hugged and kissed,
and was finally told how much that she was missed.
They said, "we also came back to see dad once more,"
"Oh," mom said, "he's just living with his wife, next door."
