我(正)方敗於荃濟之手,致敗關鍵在於看不準反方的弱點,未能重擊對手;
反方主辯這樣立論:『我們不是說德比才重要,而是說才德兩者同樣重要。』這立論雖巧妙,但有一個重大弱點,在於不可能清楚說明『才德兩者同樣重要』是什麼意思;我方大有機會反敗為勝:

1.「才德兩者同樣重要」意思是各佔50%的重要性嗎?(反方難以此嚴格的比率去說服聽眾吧?)
2. 若「才」佔51%,「德」佔49%; 或「才」佔52%,「德」佔48%;….;那便是我方的立論;反方全軍覆沒了!
3. 若「才」佔49%,「德」佔51%; 或「才」佔48%,「德」佔52%;….;那便是說『德比才重要』,反方主辯的立論前後矛盾,我方便佔先手。
4. 若反方說兩者不能量化,我方仍可窮追猛打,要反方說出憑什麼準則判斷二者的重要性是相等的呢?

正方只要聲稱反方所舉的全部例子,都說不出「才」「德」是各佔50%的重要性,而且甚至是「才」的重要性超過50%,便可一舉把敵軍殲滅,更可把反方的例子都收為己用,說成是支持我方所說「才比德重要」的證據; 我方實無需死守在什麼「道德只是為群體生存服務」這種眨德褒才的脆弱防線上了。

今次辨論題目:才比德重要，九濟堂抽中係正方，係比較難發揮，反方(荃濟)會有較多point去反駁正方(九濟堂)，所以輸，非戰之罪。另外，辨論員的表現，我不該下定論，因為我沒有去睇。我知道各位己經盡力，不要介懷今次的落敗。
