Wondering if his mother was nearby, the creamy colt shoved a teacup muzzle beneath his fuzzy flank. He drew each limb up close underneath himself, fretting that perhaps some strange horse might sneak up on him while he waited for the mare. He thought of that strange small 'horse' that had greeted him earlier. Perhaps it was stalking him that very moment, hunger in it's beady orbs.
