Angelina was glancing around at the damage to her club when Kip’s parting words had been heard. She’d managed to shake her head in good riddance, though she cringed as the car seemed to cough to life, even to her untrained ear she knew that wasn’t a good sound…and she’d been around enough cars to know what they were suppose to sound like. Gods please go south, but don’t stop at the complex, please for the love of god don’t stop at the complex words breathed inwardly as she jumped as Tori drew her attention after rendering the last of the federal agents incapacitated. ”I’m fine. Yes, he’s on the way. Check my kit I used for Sway at the Complex, it’ll have what you need!” Words yelled as the woman hurried away towards the truck idling not a block away.
Still inside and out of hearing from the federal agents, Angelina had been able to place one call to Nancy, ”Hey Nancy, yeah Memphis and Tumbler on their way back with Tori, she’s pretty bad, take care of her I’ve got to handle the sheriff here. Don’t let anyone leave the compound, that’s an order, if they do I swear Tori has permission to break legs.” A pause as the obvious question was asked about Kip. ”He got away and was headed south, towards you, but I think he’ll keep going if he’s got enough sense left. He got hit but I can’t go looking for him right now. I need to go the Sheriff is almost here.” Hanging up she moved towards the front of the Club again.
She could already hear the sound of sirens as Seth drew close; the Sheriff was getting his work cut out for him this week. Glancing around again Angelina grabbed a notepad she used for taking orders and a pin, writing down license plates of the suvs along with badges of the people she could locate without touching. ”You have some nerve setting a monster on us miss.” Angelina turning to level the shotgun at the startled federal agent as she spoke in a very clear and level voice, ”I have no idea what you’re talking about sir, you took a nasty hit to the head, you’re hallucinating and probably have a concussion.” It wasn’t long after that the man passed back out and that left Angelina standing with the shotgun over her shoulders and carnage all around.
She was standing like this when Seth pulled up to the place, there was a flipped suv and a the second was riddled with bullets and its tires slashed by something that was obviously not a knife. ”Hello Seth, Sheriff…I swear to god I didn’t fire it, though if you need to test it by all means go ahead.” She looked out of place here, an angel in a field of carnage but it’d been her life story since coming to Cascade, it wasn’t likely to change anytime soon.
