How many nights had passed since she last shared an embrace with her husband and lover? How many evenings had gone without the sparks of romance that had been shown that night on the beach within their private adobe? Too many that’s is the answer – too many to count, not that she was. Platinum strands of a natural glow were toyed with as she escaped out the vast apartment above the abandoned warehouse. Mix matched eyes had long ago grown tired of staring out the rain painted window. Her mind demanding action, as did her body so she’d brought herself from the realm of hermitville and out into the grotesque world once more. Zeth had admitted he would be late yet again, their embraces rare and far between though the man had only a handful of times never come home, he would smell of brandy and perfume though she knew not to worry for they were only the ladies he photographed. It was the nights he did not come home or came home smelling of a fresh shower she worried, each but a handful of times and each never approached question wise – though she ought to.

The pale blue camisole blouse caused her one pool of sapphire to pop bold will the second and unnatural orb of emerald shown just as brightly, as if mystery and suspense were at hand. It was perhaps the previous owner that caused the orb to shine or perhaps the very host of it now…whatever the reason pools of mix-matched tones shimmered in the dimly light club as she stepped inside the throbbing interior of the neon green club, seemingly looking for another. Which she was – though it seemed the person she was after had already arrived, and caused a few annoyances for the brunette bartender behind the bar. Though knowing the guest she sought it was possible the other was just enjoying her evening and the rest of the population of Cascade had begun to make it difficult on her instead. She felt for the other though she’d learned long ago to keep on her toes when about the fiery redhead…the fairy in the other making it an interesting encounter whenever their paths crossed. Though she owed much to the woman with fiery red locks, and while they would never be called best of friends, friendship – fragile and handled with care – had been produced. When you are an immortal with a vampire husband you learn not to hold grudges long, it’s liable to leave you alone in a town – while accommodating of their kind – far out numbered by mere humans and a panic easy to stir.

Motioning to Angelina for her usual Tonic to drink, Alicia took the few steps needed to bring her towards the table the other sat at, lips of pale pink pulling into a genuine smile as she noticed the bare feet and the puddle of Vodka. ”I see you’re making yourself comfortable.” The woman hadn’t actually planned on meeting the other here, though while her walk from the Warehouse had been short it was impossible to note another of familiarity when the aura tugged at her…so she’d come in, and the idea of a drink had been tempting, considering she’d have been drinking alone otherwise. ”Mind if I have a seat?” Question posed as she waited to settle in the matching bar stool.

I don't believe in windows. They have a tendency to get in the way of escape routes.Tarot06/17/11 10:20:44am
