She had indeed watched the human race come up from squalor to become the all encompassing plague they were today. She'd seen the rise and fall of nearly every rule, first hand and often face to face. Some of those Rules, she'd rather liked. Some she'd helped along in their fall from power. Rome had been one of her favorites, a world of extravagance. Excess and beauty side by side with brutality and death. Yes, she'd rather liked Rome. But she was in agreence with him about the future of the human race. It was most likely doomed.

She nodded at his comment about the city, remembering when she had first rejoined her brothers all those years ago. She had thought their choice of location odd when she'd first heard about it. Why would they chose a sleepy little mountain town, hardly big enough to even be called a city. She'd thought it was risky, though the idea of being so close to nature was appealing. There wasn't enough open space these days. But once she'd walked into town, she'd suddenly understood. This was one of the few places where the supernatural could not only survive, but thrive. They were welcome here. In those days it was chaos, a free for all, law of the wild sort of place. Order had taken over at some point, and those who wanted peace and quiet took over. Now, those of the other world lived like honest citizens. Some worked, mostly to keep boredom at bay -like herself and her brother- while others simply lived off their rather substantial savings accounts. "Solid proof is nearly impossible to get..." She smirked "Wish I'd known you were looking then, might have been able to give you an in. I know more than a few who would have been willing to help you out" So long as he'd taken a warning to his government, to not stick there fingers into something they didn't understand... unless they wanted to have those fingers bitten off.

She smirked slightly as he was taken aback by her simple gesture. It was just as much of a gesture as it was a movement of bone and muscle. While it would take a bit of work, he could kill her -she wasn't completely invulnerable after all- but for some reason she doubted he would harm her. Well, not with the intent of killing her. She wouldn't be adverse to a bit of experimentation with the man. She'd never slept with a vampire before, just about anything else she'd taken to bed on at least one occasion. But vampires tended to be too.... pompous for her tastes. "I'll give you her number. I'm sure she could work something up to suit your tastes" The woman really was skilled with artwork.

She lifted her own drink to painted lips, watching as he struggled to regain control of his inner beast. She arched a brow as his glass cracked, as he paused to collect his self control. She reached a slim hand out to rest against his wrist, digits wrapping around the solid joint to draw his attention back to her. He needed to regain control of his beast, needed to maintain some semblance of humanity till she could get him out of here. She concentrated on calming him, on bringing his beast back under control. She could contain him if he lost control, but it wouldn't do him any good to doubt his ability to keep control. Easy...

She squeezed his wrist, needing to keep him calm. As much as she enjoyed this flirting, the raising of desire and anticipation. "We'll work something out... But I think you need to get out of here, soon. I doubt Angelina would appreciate us loosing control in her bar... She just put it back together, after all"
