Angelina smiled back in turn at Memphis, ignoring the muttered curses and grumbling from Shania, watching as Stan handing the coke to Memphis. ”You’re welcome, Memphis.” The name still was foreign on her tongue she had to admit most their names were. She’d been so use to yelling them over the years that to say them now…after such a long time, was surreal on its own front. Stan was being a real trooper. Though their troubles were much more complex than the simple hurt feelings or lost possessions most here had felt. There was a child involved, one that had grown up believing their father dead…one that would most likely give them both hell the second she found out it wasn’t true. ”Thank you.” Words whispered to Stanley as he passed her to deliver Laurie her own drink, before giving Freb a quick look over. ”Just don’t make me have to patch you up too much okies?” She had been a nurse after all, she’d be able to clean him up if there was a need, something that’d come in handy when they didn’t want to call the hospitals attention but also troublesome with all the trouble they’d gotten into. ”That boyish charm only works if you keep the face looking boyish.”

A wink as she moved to check on Nancy, giving the woman a smile from her spot next to Memphis, it looked like things were okay there. ”It’ll be nice to see the flowers and grass again, that’s for sure.” Catching Stan’s comment about the snow being washed away even as the door opened and two more figures walked in. She should really lock the door, there was no telling when someone else would come in that wasn’t apart of the crew and she wasn’t about to lose customers over a family reunion, dysfunctional as it is. ”We’re close….” Words dying on her lips as the booming voice registered in her already frazzled cranial lobe. Oh hell, not this too. mental thought given as she closed her eyes and pinched her nose for a second then yelled back. ”I can put the twilight zone music on if it’ll make you feel better.” Chuckle issued as she thought of doing that for real, it might help the confrontation about to occur. Everyone present already knew Shania and Memphis had a bone to pick with Tumbler, but there was bound to be others.

So far Shania hadn’t made a lunge for him, but instead was begging for her booze back, a call she’d leave up to Freb as there was no way Angelina was going to deal with the taller brunette later. For yet the second time that night Angelina wished she’d left the club with Sway, and she’d never been one to run away from confrontation. ”Stanley…” the man she’d once called husband’s name whispered softly. The bravado she’d held in place most the night threatening to crumble as she down the last of her rum and coke then poured herself a glass of water. She wanted more to drink, but it didn’t look like alcohol was going to be the answer to her problems tonight. Hazels looked into darker gaze, trying to find some sort of balance there, or control, needing to find some sort of support for whatever the outcome that was about to occur.

It was only after she’d nearly whimpered her near silent plea that Angelina realized who was standing next to Tumbler. ”Tori!” the name called out as she moved to round the bar and headed towards the woman. She couldn’t help her reaction just happy to see the other after so long even though she’d known the woman was present from time to time. ”Love the new look.” She meant it too; it was a little less intimidating, sort of. ”Come in, please, though I warn you I’m already cutting people off.” It was a warning that things were strained, the only one she’d have time to give before whatever happened…happened.
