Laurie Ann had given up on controlling the blush that colored her cheeks; she’d just have to make due with a bright pink coloring for the evening. Shania’s comment had Laurie nearly choking on her champagne, causing her to finish the drink a little faster than she’d have liked. She had managed three drinks this night, more than intended but not enough to make her tipsy as a few others, though she might have Toby drive the car, just to be safe. As chatter died down only to pick up in tinier bunches the lithe blonde found her attention resting on the man at her side. Lips tugging into a light smile at his question. ”I’d hoped to go back to the Complex, see the truck. Maybe we can go for a walk before calling it a night. I…um…we, can…use the house?” It only seemed fitting, the house was theirs and she had the key. ”That is if you want.” She couldn’t promise anything more would happen but the idea of sleeping anywhere near Shania worried her and there was the simple fact that she didn’t see Angelina sleeping anytime soon. She’d need sleep at some point, especially so she could get her calls done early in the morning.







Shania was rewarded for her words with a deeper blush from Laurie and a chuckle from Freb. The rest seemed to have gotten lost in their little conversations, leaving the brunette with nothing but a bowl of peanuts and the intoxication Latino to entertain her…not that she was complaining. Another crunch of peanuts was heard as the lengthy brunette singer stretched on her stool, making sure to lean over the counter just right to accent her assets for the pretty boy. ”All good things come to those who wait…” She didn’t believe the phrase but it’d keep him guessing and that was the real point. She was a woman that was all for taking what you wanted, when you wanted it. The tension building between them reached past the alcohol, in truth the booze only intensified the need and Shania soon found her hand pushing the bowl of peanuts towards Tumbler and his growling stomach. ”Speaking of cake…I think I’d like someone to drive my drunk ass home.” Question was who’d be the brave soul to take her home.
