Subject: Looking for work Author: Mike Giordano [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 10/18/09 8:05:45am Mike walked into the club surrounded by the old familiar smoky haze and the dull roar of the club's clientele and smooth beat of music..it was good to be back..he thought to himself. A contract gun for hire, he had spent the last year in a distant country doing other people's dirty work for them..but at least it paid well. A friend had recommended cascade city to him..she had mentioned that there should be plenty of work opportunities for him. He knew that one of the best places to go looking for his line of work was in the clubs. He sauntered his way up to the bar, casually checking out the place as he found any empty bar stool. It was an unfamiliar environment, but the reassuring bulge of his nine in the small of his back comforted him as he slowly drank his coke and rum. It was going to take some work for him to adjust, he thought. He raised his glass, drinking slowly from it as he scanned the club. He knew, especially in a city like this, that there was dirty work that needed doing, and luckily for them..he was just the man this town needed.
