Well all I wanna say is I AM SO PLEASED there is finally an EXODUS web site.I'm 26, but I first heard EXODUS when I was 11!Which, coincidently, is the same year I got my first guitar.I have NEVER stopped listening to them since, and they to this day are one of my 3 favorite bands/influences.Paul was the greatest voice ever...THE HEAVIEST.But no disrespect to ZETRO...I am psyched to know that the flag still flies.ZETRO is ruling....and as much as I love the early stuff the most, my favorite EXODUS tune might even be FASTER THAN YOU'LL EVER LIVE TO BE....
With total respect to the rest of the band, I'd like to inparticularly salute GARY HOLT and RICK HUNOLT.As a guitarist, you guys have been the biggest inspiration to me , as a riff shredder and as a lead player...EXODUS totally showed me the way as a young kid...the way to power and thrash...and not wimping out.EVERY EXODUS alblum rules, I can't wait to hear the new one, and hope it is crammed with speed, thrash, anger and loaded with solos.THANKS!You guys are the best...Unfortunately for my pitiful self I live in a remote area and have never seen EXODUS.I was hoping sometime in the future we'd see an east coast tour...I live in northern NY state...at slaythechristians@hotmail.com anyone who wants can write me as long as they don't be assholes.
