The show moved a little slow but I think it did give us a little insight into Scully and what her deep-seated needs were. Cancer man told her much later on that she was attracted to older powerful men. Her relationship to her father (even though he is gone) is just emphasized in this episode with Boggs acting as a medium of some sort. He played her for all it was worth but in the end I still wondered if he didn't have some sort of power--sort of a John Edward and his show "Crossing Over."

When I look at the series as a whole, I see a rather convoluted plot--sort of reminds me of a roller coaster with the ups and downs and with an occasional "loop d'loop" thrown in for good measure.

This episode reminds me of All Things but I am not sure why. Maybe because of the intense story for/with Scully.
