Subject: Question about The Truth

After watching The Truth last night I was wondering how long it takes to drive from Virginia to New Mexico. I would assume it would be a two day trip. They left the gaol in Virginia sometime at night. The next day Dog, Mon and Gib went and found the office trashed. M and S turn up at the Texas NM border at 5:07pm [I always thought it was am] which I assume has to be after driving all the previous night and the next day. I assume they took turns at driving. Now did they drive all night again to arrive in the desert the next day? Had they stayed that night in a motel or did they stay in a motel the night before so that Mulder could change into his jeans and tshirt? Did they have mad passionate sex in that motel room, [Islandgirl?] or did they just stop for a breather? did they arrive in the desert on the second day after leaving Virginia? They drove [or motelled] for two nights. So when did Mon and Dog get the chopper into the desert? Certainly not the next day when they went to the office. It had to have been the day after that. It doesn't make sense. Unless I read the time wrong and it was actually 5:07am , not pm. So how long does it take to drive from Virginia to NM? More than a day or less? I must get out my map. Maybe its only about 14-15 hrs. LIke driving from Sydney to Bourke. But the time thing doesn't make sense.
