Hey there:-)

I don't know about you, but I don't see a lot of re-casting in TV shows unless it's a soap-opera. I mean, it works on daytime TV shows like General Hospital or Days of our Lives because there are so many other stories going on and so many different characters, you can get used to it a little better, and soap actors try to move on to bigger things, but something on prime-time like the X-Files where the main character is re-cast? I just don't know if that would have worked at all because DD IS Mulder. It's not like 2 other actors have played his part in the past so we're all used to it now. I really would have been shocked if they did that. As for letting GA off the hook this season, I really think they should have let her leave the show and, like you said, cast new characters. I would have been interesting to watch the show with a new perspective and a new spin on things.
