I stand beside you BDM. Dr Who is the best. I love that show. I was obsessed all through my highschool years. But I must say that after Peter Davidson, I lost interest and so did our ABC and they didn't put it on as much any more. Of course they were forever rerunning the old JP and TB shows which I think were the best. I loved the 5 Dr special on Gallifrey but did not go too much on the really modern movie. I think after the 6th Doctor they had run out of really original personalities because he really did have very different and distinct ones. I hated the companions after Romana left. Couldn't stand Adric or Nyssa and that poor excuse for an Australian, Tegen, just made my skin crawl. That yanky chick was just plain sickening too. I did like Turlow though. I actually met Turlow about 9 years ago. He lives in Australia. There happened to be a Dr Who convention in my town and so I went for one day. It sure was an eye opener. I met Turlow and Katie Manning [who has also lived here for eons]I had fun but those fans really were Dr Who geeks. They could tell you the name of the actor who played the third monster from the right in one of the very early eps. But I got a t shirt and I thought that was good. I still have it , I think.

Sorry this is off topic but I just love love love Dr Who. It was really funny one night, I was sitting watching a doco on something and the guy narrating sounded really familiar. It bugged me the whole time until the very end and the credits read that the narrator was Sean Pertwee. Sounded a bit like Jon. Just like my XF sonar picks up XF stuff in an instant, my Dr Who radar must still subconsciously be turned on. lol
