As usual, I enjoyed this ep. It was a little confusing, though. Who are those two Italian guys and what was the purpose of the singing at the end? I got all the casino/pinball machine things: Bird's-eye view of Reyes walking the bureau hallways, the view of the lights and dancing at the end, and Burt's face being the shape of the city. Those visuals were cool.

I was a little weirded out by the "congratulations Monica" stuff. It was just...weird. Like they didn't have a way to connect the two scenes of her in the numerologist's office to an agent group meeting discussing logistics of the investigation.

At first I was wishing Doggett was in it more. Me being the Doggettist and all (As opposed to Scullyist, Mulderist, Reyesist?). I thought how wonderful that basement office scene would've been with JD in Scully's place. I think that people enjoyed the "old" Scully and how she's acting normal and back to work. Others wonder how she could be so "normal" without Mulder. If JD was in Scully's place in this ep, people would complain that they were making the JD-MR dynamic to similar to the M&S dynamic. If we still had Mulder around and M&S were working this case, we'd still be complaining that M&S haven't "gotten it on" and we'd be bored. It's a no-win situation unless we enjoy what we do have (just like we teach children about *important* things, notably not fictional tv:)

I think that it was great to see a glimpse of healthy, normal Scully, and a good working and friendly relationship between her and Reyes. I realized I felt that way while watching the parking garage scene. And we got l'il Will.

I forgot if there was anything else I was going to say...I need sleep...
