Actually, I kind of liked it. I can't remember (maybe KS?) who gave the multiple choice test about what to think when you see all the pictures on the wall, but I didn't find it so hard to believe that Doggett believed him. Not because it wasn't obvious the guy was more than a little creepy, but because Doggett was just that desperate. Think of all the things Mulder believed when trying to find out the truth about his sister. People will give anything a chance if they are desperate enough.

If I had my way, Brad would have gotten shot by the mobster, not the other way around. When the two were sitting in the car together I thought for sure Brad was going to be sleeping with the fishes before the episode was over. It would have gone with the XF way of killing off bad guys. Let them show a little remorse, then off them. Regardless of if Brad truly was remorseful, he certainly did the cowardly thing by killing the mobster. He didn't kill him because that guy killed Luke, he killed him to save his ass.

I find it kind of hard to swallow the Monica just walked away when she saw Brad taking money from a mobster. I know they were in a relationship and in love and all that jazz, but come on! Being bribed by the mob is serious. It's not something an ethical federal agent should ever look the other way on, regardless of her relationship with Brad. That's just my opinion.

The only thing about this episode that really got under my skin was Doggett's ex-wife saying that Doggett and Monica could have something together. First off, STOP SHOVING IT DOWN MY THROAT! I DON'T BUY IT! Secondly, while we didn't learn the details of the divorce, my parents are divorced and I think they'd rather eat one of those hissing cockroaches from Fear Factor than suggest a replacement for themselves. And they are on very good terms now.

Once again, Robert Patrick acted his cute little butt off.

I'm also a little worried about next week. It looks bizarre.
