You sure confused me with these questions! I think I get messed up with stuff from fanfic too, though. I got some answers from the official site bios:

*Ringo *is* Langly's first name. (This has been a question of mine for a loooong time, too. I don't think that was ever really established on the show, but over time and rumor it just became that way. Maybe it was his real name the whole time, I dunno. I'm sure this is right, but the OS sometimes messes up in spelling actor's names (!) and in facts in eps, but that's another story) It doesn't say where he's from.

Well, that gave me one out of four answers...I have no clue what religion Byers is or where he was born (but his birthdate is November 22, 1963 :) The OS bios are up-to-date...I've read Skinner's and Krycek's that are updated with stuff they did and said in Requiem.
