What's that line Mulder says in Pilot? I've wondered why they haven't done a Halloween episode either but then I think, well, every XF episode is like a Halloween episode.
It would be fun to see Mulder and Scully celebrate it. Maybe they get enough real life spookiness though!

OK, I'll start. This is going to be off the top of my head so don't yell if it's terrible!
Good idea, Devlin!

"X-Files Halloween Tale" (maybe as it progresses we can give it a better title).

This will be set during no particular time period but I'll keep pre season 7 in mind...

Scully's apartment

Scully carefully got out her autopsy tools and got to work. "Ugh! I hate this part! Digging out all the insides!"

There was a knock at the door.

"Come on in but remember, I'm armed!", she called.

The door creaked open and footsteps slowly dragged themselves toward Scully's kitchen where the unsuspecting FBI Agent/Dpoctor was working on her project.

"Roooaaarrlllllwwwlll!!!"

She turned around to see a hideous beast before her.

"Oh hi, Mulder."

"How'd you kow it was me?", Mulder asked, dejectedly pullng off his nondescript monster mask.

"You've still got the barbeque sauce stain on the tie you wore at lunch today. I thought you were going to stay late at the office."

"I was but I was so frightened I had to leave."

"Frightened? By what, Mulder?"

"Skinner. He called me into his office to get my opinion on his costume for the department Halloween party."

"He looked scary huh? What was he Mulder? A ghost? A goblin? Phoebe Greene?"

"You're not that far off Scully. He was dressed as Marilyn Monroe. It wasn't a pretty sight!"

"I'll bet he was gorgeous!", Scully joked.

"Well, maybe if he finds the reighjt wig. A bald Marilyn Monroe just wasn't working for him at all."

Mulder noticed Scully's strange choice of equipment. "Scully, why are you holding the knife you use to perform autopsies? What exactly is going on here Scully?!" Something wasn't right. Mulder was starting to get scared. Really scared. Not bald Marilyn Monroe scared.

He watched in horror as she dug the knife into her victim again and again, stabbing with more enthusiasm each time.
"Scully stop! Stop doing that!" Mulder couldn't take it amy more. Scully's autopsies made him squeamish enough as it is but this was too much to bare!"

So he fainted.

Scully walked over to Mulder passed out on the kitchen floor and stood over him.

"Mutants, monsters, shapeshifters...Who'd have ever thouight Mulder would finally reach his limit watching me carving a simple Halloween pumpkin!

Scully sighed and went back to her carving. Admiring her work she noted, "Hmm, with a pair of glasses this jack-o-lantern would look just like Frohike!"

End part one

OK who's next? ;-)
