Hi there !

im trying to remember what year it was.. we flew to Malta and went to Israel, Egypt, Santorini, Naples, (and more tho I cannot remember them all )

What I do remember was that one of the kitchen staff, on his birthday the rumour was that he put boot polish in his hair to cover his grey hairs.
We had to walk up the steps to get to Santorini.. with the donkeys and their poo !! (there was no airport at the time)
We got up very early to see the sun rise in the desert and it was the first day it had rained all year so we missed it..
I met a lad called Jamie W who was from Codsall in Wolverhapton..

It was a fantastic trip,

and I was lucky enough to go on another one... around the baltic..though we couldnt stop at St Petersburg (i think) due to some political problem at the time.. We went to Berlin, Copenhagon, Helsinksi, Stockholm.. plus others
Can anyone remember the year and month please??? Maybe 1979??
I think another local school went because I remember a lad called Robert Routledge..

The Mediterranean trip was definitely in December.. but its the year Id like to know please???

And Id appreciate it if anyone can remember the month and year of the Baltic trip.. please..
