My Dad was Gerald A. Ottens, S2c (ship's cook) on LST-56. He]s passed now, but I was wondering if you might have any info or photo's of the LST-56 or crew members? He really didn't say too much about D-Day and I'm trying to get as much info and photo's regarding 6 June 1944 to 25 June 1944.

I would love to hear about your connection with the LST if you have time as well. I hope to hear from you. Rachel
