 My Dad was John J Russell . Born Fall River Mass . Entered into Active service Providence RI 11:16:44 .
USNTC Sampson NY is 1st item on Dd 214
Do you have any info on him .
He's buried in Bourne , he never spoke of War , and I'm trying so hard to find out his WW2 activity . He served ion USS Tolman and USS Buoyant .
If there was a photo from Sampson I would be delighted !!!!
