 My dad left school at age 17 and entered the Navy on Aug 21, 1943 USNTS Sampson, NY he then served on the USS Cactoctin. Does anyone have any pictures of his shipmates or members of his graduating class? Not sure of his class number. Would love to surprise him. He lights up when talking about his time in the navy he said he couldn't wait to get back aboard ship to be with his buddies.
