My grandfather served in the US Navy in 1944 at age 17 at Sampson NY and the then not yet famous commedian Don Rickles was in his unit as well. I as able to join the sons of the American Legion with his Discharge form and his rounded dog tags. He was a Legionaire and an honorary member of the VFW as well. His name was Leonard Norman Dupuis. I would like to know if they sell Navy ball. caps like they do for say USS RhodIsland but only for the Sampson Training Camp? I'd love to buy one if they do? Grandpa died last year at age 89 february 23 to his eternal Post/Billet to be reunited with grandma who died 3 years earlier in february as well. Myself i volunteered in the US Coast Guard Academy and did a lawenforcement
